I just got back yesterday from Barcelona, Spain where my girlfriend and I spent the long weekend. Luckily for us, it was warm and sunny for the entire weekend. It was so nice to be out in a t-shirt for a change.

To get around we walked heaps and used the fabulous Barcelona Bus Turistic, the official sightseeing bus that takes you on predefined routes that cover Barcelona’s main tourist attractions. It made getting around so easy.

Some of the attractions we visited included Tibidabo mountain, Antoni Gaudí’s famous architectural masterpieces; the Casa Mila, Park Güell garden complex and the absolutely massive and spectacular Sagrada Família cathedral which is still under construction and has been since 1882. The cathedral’s construction is said to be dictated by the availability of funds from anonymous donations and as a result, construction is expected to continue until at least 2026.

Out in t-shirt for a change? Don’t you do that always?
Well we always do over here except while on duty.
Our weather is hot. Especially tonight. Sweat!

I’m living in London at the moment so it has been bitterly cold up until a month or so ago. It’s spring now and still rarely warm enough to head out in a t-shirt.

Luckily summer is just around the corner :)

The Barcelona Bus Turistic is highly recommended. Although I’ve been living here a few years now I usually take it when my friends are over.

WOW! Holy cow! Amazing buildings. Thanks for sharing this! I’m saving for a trip there. Not sure when yet, but it’s gonna happen. This is wonderful inspiration!

Great pics from my city. Careful though with pock pockets. Foreigners (guiris in Spanish) are well sought after by them, and you guys can’t deny that you look like tourists.
