Pho Beef Noodle Soup

I had a craving for pho so for dinner Xuan and I went to Hung Vuong Saigon (133 Hopkins St, Footscray) which is a Vietnamese restaurant that specialises in pho. For those who don’t know pho is a famous Vietnamese rice noodle soup dish which is usually served with thinly sliced beef and garnished with spring onion, Thai basil, long coriander and bean sprouts.

I ordered my pho with thinly sliced rare beef and beef brisket which you can see in the photo below. Xuan isn’t a big fan of pho so she had the grilled chicken rice instead. She usually orders a rice dish whenever we go to a pho restaurant which I just don’t understand since I think pho is like one of the best things ever.

I love pho :) My first pho was oddly enough in melbourne about 5 years ago. Was hooked with the first slurp. It’s hard to find an authentic one in KL. I’m still looking.
