A Saturday In Barwon Heads

The girlfriend and I headed up to Geelong and Barwon Heads for the day just to do a bit of sightseeing and walking. It was good to do something a bit more outdoorsy for a change. It was a bit cloudy and grey outside but luckily the rain held back. It was also surprisingly pretty warm.

Firstly, we went to Geelong and did a bit of walking around the Eastern Beach area. Then we drove up to Barwon Heads. We stopped and checked out the Barwon River views and then we went for a walk to Barwon Bluff to check out the rock pools. It was all pretty cool. Check out the photos.

    Really nice beach. It reminds me of the beaches back home near Seattle.

    That is a nice cozy beach there. The waves looks a bit fierce for a swim though.
