It was lunchtime again and I was wondering what I should eat. After a bit of pondering I decided to pull out a pack of instant noodles, an egg and some frozen squid I had in the freezer.

I cooked the instant noodles with all the condiments and drained the broth out into a separate bowl, threw the squid in a fry pan with a little garlic and a tad of soy sauce. When the squid was nearly cooked I put it aside and threw in the egg breaking it up as it cooked. I then added re-added the squid and threw in the cooked noodles. I tossed and mixed the whole lot together and there it was, my egg and squid fried noodles.

    I would normally have some frozen veges in the freezer that I would throw into the mix but this time I was out.

    Nah, it’s no delicacy. It’s just something I quickly threw together.
