Tet In Saigon

Oink oink it’s nearly the 2007 Year of the Pig! Umm err yeah… Haha anyways, it was already like 12:30am and there were still heaps of people walking the streets of Saigon taking in all the colourful Tet displays in celebration of the 2007 Lunar New Year. I did a bit of walking around taking random shots along the way and by 1:45am I was feeling pretty knackered so I decided to call it an early night and head off home. Check out the photos.

Hey, I am in Saigon also. I leave on Tuesday. I have been here for a holiday. I was at the same place you were in the city. I have been staying at the Rex. Tet has been fun. My first Tet in Vietnam actually. You took some great pictures.

Yeah, its fun. Just a pity most things are shut. We wanted to go eat at Quan An Ngon, but its been closed. Ben Thanh market too. But still, its been fun.

I think most businesses will remain closed for another day for Tet. I’ve been told that it’s business as usual on the Thursday the 22nd of Feb.
